MEP reinforces supply chain efforts

Charles Austen Pumps making improvements to build upon
Charles Austen pumps, based in Byfleet, Surrey, manufacture an extensive range of vacuum pumps and compressors including diaphragm pumps, rocking piston pumps, rotary diaphragm pumps and linear air pumps. The company worked with MAS to complete a six-day Six Sigma Project that focused on improving process quality of its RD1 Rotary Diaphragm Pump, and underwent a five-day Lean Facilitator Workshop focusing on overall lean manufacturing improvements, paying particular attention to its D3 Pump design.
